Introduction post! This is zephyrian's original work journal—specifically, for National Novel Writing Month this lovely year of 2008. But don't let that fool you into thinking that arctorus will lie dormant until the first of November. Indeed, throughout the month of September, I will be participating in 31_days, a community where one posts a themed piece every day for an entire month. I thought about doing it for all my fandoms, but then I decided that it would be better, not to mention good practise for November, to really discover my characters by doing it for my up-and-coming NaNoWriMo project, instead.

Then, come the first of November, I will dump the first section, chapter, whatever you want to call it, of my novel upon those few who are reading. If I'm smart, and I'm not flaking out this year, by the way (because I did the previous two), I'll update every day until the final day, the thirtieth, which is also, strangely enough, my birthday, and I'll have fifty-thousand words and it will be a work of utter genius! Hopefully, however, no sentence within it will be as comma-packed as the previous one was.

So. Yes. It's going to be great! It's (tentatively) called But That Was In Another Country. Stay tuned! Ish.

P.S. Nobody's going to understand why I am arctorus, and that's a shame, because the reason is a-maa-zing!
